The Town of Holly Springs is turning 150, and we’re throwing a year-long party you’ll never forget! The festivities ignited at the annual fireworks festival in July 2026 and won’t stop until the Spring of 2027. From deep dives into local history to vibrant cultural showcases, get ready for a year packed with community spirit and fun surprises.

Holly Quest

Who doesn’t love a good scavenger hunt? Participate in the 150th Town-wide Scavenger Hunt by searching Holly Springs for clues and win prizes. From historic locations to public places, from parks to Town facilities, locations all around Holly Springs will be part of this fun and inclusive town-wide challenge.

The fun continues at the annual Town event, HollyFest! Attend this free family-friendly tradition that showcases the best artists, food, and talent Holly Springs has to offer. Be on the lookout for a few 150th anniversary surprises throughout the event.

Join in a special commemorative tree planting ceremony in honor of the Town’s 150th Anniversary. Be part of history by writing a message to the future and posing for a community photo. Both could be preserved in a time capsule planned to be buried nearby next year, sharing Town history and the community’s lasting commitment to future generations!

Light the Springs

Celebrates the start of the holiday season at Light the Springs! Live music, festive food and beverage options, and free holiday crafts are all part of this evening that begins with a menorah lighting and ends with Santa and the Mayor lighting the Town tree.

Happy Holly Days Parade

The Happy Holly Days Parade is held on the second Saturday of December. Floats, bands, dancers, decorated vehicles, marching groups, and all sorts of entertaining entries travel Main Street through downtown.

Reflections of Black History in Holly Springs

The Holly Springs community is invited to celebrate Black History Month throughout February with gallery displays and special programs. Stay tuned for more information about special 150th-themed activities highlighting the many ways Black leaders have shaped Holly Springs into the community it is today.

Spring Fling

Are you hunting for some fun this spring? Then come on out to Spring Fling at NMAC for a morning of games, activities, bunny meet & greet, and huge egg hunts. This year’s event will offer special 150th-themed surprises and fun for all ages!

This is going to be the biggest birthday bash in Town history! Downtown Holly Springs will be transformed into a massive festival grounds. From performances and local artisans to a fleet of food trucks, the energy will be electric. The event will be topped off with a breathtaking show that will light up the night sky like never before!
