In 2023, a piece of history was reunited with the Town of Holly Springs. A book containing records of meetings held by the Holly Springs Town Board of Commissioners from 1909 to 1927 was found at a local antique store by Andrea Karrick, a Fuquay-Varina resident. Holly Springs Town Clerk Linda McKinney read through the book and discovered new details from the era of silent pictures, the Spanish flu and when the first electric streetlights were installed in Holly Springs.
